Dr. Hogan uses sophisticated quantitative as well as qualitative methodologies that result in cost effective, valid information you can use for your most challenging evaluation projects. Dr. Hogan has held senior research positions at major research universities including the University of Kentucky, the University of Notre Dame as well as the California State System. In her administrative capacities, she has provided leadership to develop integrated approaches to strategic planning, budgeting, program evaluations and accreditation processes including assessment of student learning In addition to extensive applied research experience, Dr. Hogan also has strong basic science expertise including her role as Senior Scientist and Administrative Director of a NIDA sponsored drug and alcohol abuse prevention research center, one of only 13 in the country. In this role, Dr. Hogan wrote grant and contract proposals, served as a Co-PI for R01 basic research grants. Content of these grants included statewide surveillance surveys of substance use and prevention, Title V, school violence, tobacco use and prevention, gambling, risky youth behavior and at risk family research. Roseann also has served as IT director for a system of thirteen community colleges as well as for a liberal arts college and served on statewide committees to establish protocols for communications, disaster recovery, evaluation, selection and migration of major enterprise software systems. Dr. Hogan earned the Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center specializing in Medical Behavioral Science, methodology and statistical analysis. Her undergraduate work was also multidisciplinary, including a bachelors in psychology and sociology and a masters specializing in statistics.
Mr. Yorde has held senior management positions of multi-billion dollar public corporations. He has managed departments with hundreds of professional and technical staff plus software consultants. His budgets exceeded $16 million annually. David Yorde has twenty years of experience in design and implementation of extremely large and complex, real time internet based systems which have been implemented and adopted globally. The reporting systems he established involved multi-million records and include operational systems as well as financial, costing, reporting, and forecasting. David brings to the team an impressive background in management having served as a senior executive in a number of national and international corporations. He has provided the leadership for evaluation, procurement, design, and final implementation of a case management software project for Solano County’s Children’s Health Initiative and Contra Costa Home Nursing Programs. Most recently, Mr. Yorde has consulted with a number of start up enterprises providing operational support and expertise, leadership for IT projects, and cost and inventory forecasting modeling. David holds a bachelor's in business administration as well as numerous QI and technical certifications.
Dr. Edmondson has over 30 year as an administrator, consultant, facilitator, and lecturer. His career prior to consulting included serving as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean of Students, Director of the Health Center, and Director of Counseling Center, Associate Director of the Center for Psychological Services.
Fred’s expertise lies in the area of performance enhancement. He provides consultancy at the individual, team, and institutional level and conducts training on a wide variety of topics. They include: Organizational Change, Communications, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, Culture Competence, Mentoring, and developing models for enhancing positive identity development among Black youth and young adults. Corporations, public and private agencies, universities, and schools have sought his expertise. Some clients have included: Excell Center, State Farm Insurance Corporation, Xerox, United Postal Service, California State Parks and Recreation, Indiana Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Cellular One, Hughes Corporation, Eastman School of Music, University of Plattsburgh, New York, Syosset School District of New York, San Jose State University, and the California State University, San Marcos. Dr. Edmondson holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of the Pacific. He has post-doctoral studies at Harvard Institute where he is a graduate of the Management Development Program and is a graduate of the National Training Lab (NTL) Institute where he was subsequently invited to be a member.
Kel Murphy earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Computer Information Systems. He has strong expertise in the SAS programming language as well as Crystal reports and Midas. Kel has served as Senior Data Analyst for a large health care organization working on numerous analytical projects to improve patient safety, reduce risk factors, and improve overall quality of patient care and was promoted to a regional role for all Northern California .
Mr. Murphy has worked with Leading Edge team members for four years and has been responsible for a variety of database and reporting projects in support of accreditation studies, student and alumni surveys, and various analyses of student, staff and faculty data. Kel designed and developed a comprehensive website in support of a WASC accreditation project. He has also worked extensively with managing data and data collection projects as well as development and implementation of reporting templates for required reports, as well as custom web databases.
Ms. Gonzalez is a marketing and communications specialist. Daisy has worked as a research assistant for The Leading Edge since 2008 performing a variety of general research duties. Daisy assists with researching and gathering benchmark data, organizing and presenting information for analysis. Daisy earned her Bachelors degree in communications and is skilled in all MS products and PhotoShop. She is bi-lingual/bi-cultural Mexican.
Mr. Hasan has earned a Bachelors and Masters in Ethnic Literature and has most recently taught at the University of Massachusetts while studying for the PhD. He has also worked extensively with managing data and data collection projects. He has expertise in all MS products as well as MAC. Jehanzeb has played a significant role in all phases of planning, production, and implementation of a variety of surveys and other writing, data collection and reporting projects in addition to support for university accreditation committees
Ms. Pascal has 20 years experience in the CSU system and has worked in variety of programs to assist students achieve educational goals. Ms Paschal has extensive experience in programs geared toward underserved and at risk students in the areas of college, career, and life skills preparation; and community service. The programs are designed to help students transition into middle school, high school, post-secondary, or a career. Karen has earned a Bachelor’s in Business - Finance option and Master’s in Education - Administration and Supervision and holds certification through the National Science Foundation in Program Evaluation.
